Diane E. Bond is a senior counsel attorney at the Blake Law Firm. Diane has over 21 years of experience litigating in both state and federal courts. Her substantial litigation experience includes mediation, arbitration, trial and appellate work, including matters involving real estate, contract, construction, mortgage banking, eminent domain, business and premises liability representing loan servicers, banks, financial institutions, property owners, managers, developers, title or escrow companies, homeowners associations, and lessors and lessees of commercial and residential properties.

Diane is committed to providing efficient and cost-effective representation for clients while maintaining the highest standards of legal practice.  Prior to joining the Blake Law Firm, she represented national banks and financial institutions in a variety of matters including loan disputes, non-judicial and judicial foreclosure disputes, title disputes, eminent domain, easement and property line disputes.  She also has extensive experience in personal injury and employment law.  

Diane is a native San Diegan and resides in Encinitas with her husband and sons.  During her time outside the office, she enjoys reading, writing, gardening, camping and travel.  

Representative Experience:

  • Quite Title Trial.  Defended national bank in litigation and negotiated a stipulated quiet title judgment resulting in full payment of the client’s loan including attorney’s fees.

  • Eminent Domain litigation. Defended national bank in litigation and negotiated settlements with homeowners resulting in paydown of client’s liens.

  • Probate litigation.  Represented national bank in probate court involving an estate of a homeowner with competing secured liens on real property and negotiated a settlement resulting in full payment of client’s lien.

  • HOA matters.  Assisted in favorable resolution of HOA disputes, representing both HOAs and homeowners, involving interpretation of CC&Rs, Bylaws, Architectural Guidelines, and other governing documents.

  • Appeal in Fourth District of California. Litigated trial case and successful appeal for client resulting in a published case Gonzales v. Paradise Valley Hospital (2003) 111 Cal.App.4th 735.
